The law firm of McTERNAN, STENDER & WEINGUS is a top-rated (AV) litigation and labor law firm with its office in San Francisco.

The firm's history goes back to the late 1930's when Frank McTernan, Barney Dreyfus and Charles Garry began representing labor unions and working people attempting to fight their way out of the tragedy of the Great Depression. The modern firm was established as a partnership in 1957 by Garry, Dreyfus and McTernan and became a professional corporation in 1974.

The firm's practice emphasizes plaintiffs' personal injury litigation and labor and employment law. We also represent plaintiffs and defendants in general civil litigation.

The firm's clients come in equal number from 40 years of clients served by the firm, from the burgeoning economy of Silicon Valley, and on referral from members of the Bar.

Our office allows convenient service to clients in all of Northern California. We provide high-quality, aggressive legal representation based on attorney-client relationships which emphasize direct communication with the attorney handling the case.
